1. The total depravity of humanity.

In Ephesians 2:1-3 we read:

"As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath".

2. The sacrificial and vicarious death of God the Son.

1 John 2:1-2 says:

"Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world".

3. Jesus' victorious resurrection.

Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:20 says:

"But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead".

4. The offer of free salvation

- 'by grace alone, through faith alone'. Ephesians 2:8 says:

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith -- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God -- not by works, so that no one can boast".

5. The believer is justified in Christ Jesus.

Paul writes to Romans 5:1:

"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ".

6. The free gift of eternal life.

John 10:28 says:

"I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish".

7. The eternal security of the believer.

Paul writes to Romans 8:1:

"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus".

8. The indwelling and sealing by the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 1:13-14 says:

"Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession -- to the praise of his glory".

9. The certain return of Christ for His Bride the Church.

In John 14:3 we read:

"I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am".
